for the very first time i got a positive OPK result! i was overjoyed because maybe, just maybe we can do this on our own. i'm trying to remain optimistic (i know, i sound like a broken record) since our appointment is a week from tomorrow. hoping to get news very soon either way. my best friend thinks that i'll be pregnant after Christmas, but i don't want to wait that long. if there is anything i have ever wanted more in my life, it's to see the word "pregnant" on the digital HPT.
ok, enough of my bubbly attitude...
the shower was great. i was so happy to see how many people came together for Janet and Wesley. makes me a little sad that we didn't try to do the same when we got married. but at least i know we have good memories of our wedding day and that's what really counts. i was told that we are "not getting any younger" so we should have a baby like NOW! people are funny, they don't understand that not everyone gets pregnant by accident every time and some of us have to work at it. i wish it were as easy as saying that i want to be pregnant and it happening.
