...with every aspect of life. i've been so listless lately. i don't care to clean, pay bills, look for a (much needed) job, promote my business, chart my temps, test with the fertility monitor or opk's. i have been feeling so blah!
to get you up to speed:
mike had his semen analysis and the same day we were told that they found white blood cells in his sample. apparently this is evidence that he may have some type of infection that needed to be cleared up before they could give us an accurate reading. so they order me some drugs and i go to pick them up and for a 10-day supply the total was $50! i almost died! being in our current monetary situation (we have none) that was a hard blow. and we knew we would be away for the weekend so he would have to wait until the following week to start taking it. his test can't be repeated until he is done with the medication. so here we are once again thwarted by MONEY!
i spent 4 days in south new jersey helping mike's cousin with her wedding. it was kind of last minute because she hadn't formally asked me to be her day-of coordinator, but i got that hint and after talking to her about it i agreed. the wedding was beautiful, the bride and groom were elated, the families and friends all had a great time. i got some really great feedback from everyone who attended and most of the vendors, too.
then i had to gear up for thanksgiving. after spending so much time away from home we didn't want to have a big gathering and decided to stay local. we celebrated with some of our best friends from around the lake and spent the night playing "battle of the sexes" board game. stupid boys won, because they cheated early on in the game.
we spent the weekend afterward painting our bedroom (finally) and our family room (it needed a change of style). we have a few more things to touch up and install but overall they look much better now.
in the middle of our "renovation" we got a phone call that my sister had been in a car accident and needed us to come and pick her up. luckily she is ok but her car is totalled so i spent monday getting her to our hometown to coordinate with my mom on a rental car. let me tell you what a thrill that was...can you sense my sarcasm?
since then, i have had no motivation for anything in life. my house is a wreck, i am behind in a project, all of our bills are behind, and i am not at all eager to find a new job. i have an interview with babies 'r us (of all places) tomorrow to see if i can move quickly up their ladder to make a career with them worthwhile. i'm not to sure about it yet.
i have just had enough with everything. i'm sick of our every dream being crushed because we don't have money. if we had better paying jobs with better companies we would have the insurance coverage we need. but of course with our luck, if we had the coverage available to us we wouldn't need it...story of my life!
